- a search and comparison platform;
- an affiliate/referral intermediary;
- a booking intermediary;
- a technology platform;
- or a booking facilitator.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
Travellin is not the operator or provider of the underlying activity or experience.
The actual service is generally supplied by an independent third-party provider.
3. Activity Provider
The provider may be:
- tour operator;
- excursion company;
- attraction;
- instructor;
- guide;
- restaurant;
- venue;
- sports operator;
- equipment-rental company;
- entertainment provider;
- local business;

The applicable booking confirmation should identify the relevant supplier where required.

- providing the booked service;
- competent personnel;
- applicable operational procedures;
- equipment supplied by the provider;
- venue arrangements;
- schedules;
- admission;
- and other service-delivery obligations within its control.
Travellin does not automatically assume those responsibilities merely because the activity is displayed or booked through the Platform.
5. Activity Descriptions
Activity information may originate from:

- seasonal operations;
- maintenance;
- safety restrictions;

A search result does not necessarily constitute a confirmed reservation.

An activity should be regarded as confirmed only when the applicable booking system or supplier issues confirmation.
Customers should retain the confirmation and any voucher supplied.
8. Vouchers and Tickets
Certain activities require:
- digital voucher;

- check-in deadline;

It may include or exclude:
- transportation;
- check-in;
- equipment fitting;
- safety briefing;
- transfers;

Customers should review the detailed activity description.

- medical equipment;
- recent injuries;
- or other safety considerations.
Where a supplier imposes a restriction, it must be observed.
26. Alcohol and Intoxication

may be subject to:

- allergy;
- intolerance;
- dietary requirement;
- or religious/ethical food preference.
Customers with serious allergies should contact the supplier directly before booking.

Accessibility varies significantly between activities.
Customers requiring accessibility arrangements should confirm with the activity provider:
- wheelchair access;
- transfer assistance;
- accessible transportation;
- adapted equipment;
- accessible toilets;
- and other requirements.
A general statement that an activity is “accessible” should not be assumed to guarantee every individual accommodation.
31. Guide and Instructor Qualifications
Where an activity requires specialist qualifications, the activity provider is responsible for ensuring its guides or instructors meet applicable legal and professional requirements.
Travellin does not independently certify every instructor or guide.
32. Weather
Outdoor activities may be affected by:
- rain;
- wind;
- snow;
- heat;

- waves;
- visibility;
- wildfire;

35. Customer Cancellation
Customer cancellation is governed by the activity’s individual cancellation policy.
Possible conditions include:
- free cancellation until a specified deadline;

- date;
- time;
- participant number;
- activity type;
- meeting point;
- or other booking details.
Changes remain subject to availability and supplier approval.
38. Participant Number
Reducing the number of participants does not automatically result in a proportional refund.
The supplier’s cancellation and amendment terms determine the financial consequence.
39. Increasing Participant Number
Adding participants requires availability.
The supplier may charge the prevailing rate for additional participants.
40. Private Activities
Private tours and experiences may have different cancellation rules from shared activities.
The entire reservation may be charged even if one participant cancels, depending on the applicable terms.
41. Group Bookings
Group bookings may have:
- special minimum numbers;
- deposit requirements;
- cancellation deadlines;
- special pricing;
- and additional conditions.
The booking confirmation should be reviewed carefully.
42. No-Show
A customer who fails to attend an activity without properly cancelling may be treated as a no-show.
A no-show may result in the loss of the booking price.
43. Late Arrival
A supplier may refuse participation if a customer arrives after the activity has started or after the required check-in deadline.
The customer should contact the supplier immediately if delayed.
44. Missed Transportation
Where an activity includes transportation and the customer misses the designated pickup:
- the supplier may not be able to wait;
- additional transport may be charged;
- and the activity may be treated as missed.
The exact consequences depend on the supplier’s terms.
45. Attractions and Tickets
Tickets may be:
- date-specific;
- time-specific;
- named;
- non-transferable;
- non-refundable;
- or subject to entry restrictions.
Customers must comply with the ticket conditions.
46. Events
Events may be subject to:
- venue security;
- identification checks;
- age restrictions;
- prohibited items;
- dress codes;

- expiry date;
- redemption conditions;
- blackout dates;
- minimum spend;
- booking requirements;

- or supplier-specific limitations.
The voucher terms govern redemption.
50. Animal and Wildlife Experiences
Wildlife and animal experiences may be subject to:
- conservation rules;
- local laws;
- safety restrictions;
- seasonal restrictions;
- animal-welfare requirements;
- and environmental conditions.
The provider remains responsible for operating the experience lawfully.

- weather;
- terrain;
- wildlife behaviour;
- road conditions;
- park restrictions;

Specific sightings or encounters should not be treated as guaranteed unless expressly promised by the supplier.
52. Environmental Conditions
Outdoor activities may be modified to protect:
- participants;
- staff;
- wildlife;
- the environment;
- or property.
A modification for legitimate safety or environmental reasons does not automatically constitute a failure to provide the service.
53. Personal Belongings
Customers remain responsible for personal belongings unless the provider expressly assumes responsibility or applicable law provides otherwise.
Customers should follow supplier instructions regarding:
- valuables;
- phones;
- cameras;
- equipment;
- luggage;
- and personal items.
54. Insurance
Travellin does not automatically provide activity insurance.
Customers should determine whether they require:
- travel insurance;
- medical cover;
- sports cover;
- equipment cover;
- cancellation insurance;
- or other protection.
Certain high-risk activities may require specific insurance.
55. Activity Provider Insurance
Where required by law, the activity provider may be required to maintain appropriate insurance.
Travellin does not represent that every activity has identical insurance coverage.
Customers requiring confirmation of specific insurance should obtain it from the provider before participating.
56. Liability
The activity provider is responsible for its own service and obligations under applicable law.
Nothing in this page excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Travellin’s liability is governed by its applicable contractual terms and mandatory law.
57. Consumer Protection
Customers retain mandatory consumer protections applicable to the transaction.
Nothing in an activity listing or booking condition is intended to:
- remove statutory rights;
- exclude legally required remedies;
- misrepresent the supplier;
- or waive non-excludable liability.
58. Package Travel
Activities may sometimes be purchased together with accommodation, flights or other travel services.
Whether this creates a legally defined package or linked travel arrangement depends on the actual transaction and applicable law.
Displaying multiple services together does not by itself determine the legal classification.
59. Separate Activity Booking
Where an activity is purchased independently from a hotel or flight, it will generally have its own:
- supplier;
- contract;
- cancellation conditions;
- payment arrangement;
- and refund rules.
60. Activity Combined With Accommodation
Where an activity is combined with accommodation, customers should review whether:
- separate contracts exist;
- a single booking exists;
- the same organiser is responsible;
- package-travel legislation applies;
- or the transaction constitutes a linked travel arrangement.
61. Payment
Depending on the transaction, payment may be processed by:
- Travellin;
- activity provider;
- booking supplier;
- payment processor;
- or another authorised intermediary.
The checkout and booking confirmation should identify the relevant arrangement.
62. Refunds
Refund responsibility depends upon who controls the booking and the applicable cancellation terms.
Where the supplier controls the booking, Travellin cannot guarantee a supplier-controlled refund.
Where Travellin processes a refund itself, it will process it in accordance with the applicable booking terms and law.
63. Refund Timing
Once a refund is authorised, the time required for the funds to appear in the customer’s account may depend on:
- payment provider;
- card issuer;
- bank;
- currency;
- and processing procedures.
64. Supplier Information Errors
Where Travellin identifies a material error in an activity listing, it may correct the information.
This may include:
- price;
- availability;
- duration;
- meeting point;
- inclusions;
- or restrictions.
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
65. Customer Responsibility

- follow safety instructions;
- provide accurate participant information;
- disclose relevant restrictions where required;
- use equipment properly;
- and follow the supplier’s instructions.
67. Complaints During an Activity
If a problem occurs, customers should notify the provider as soon as reasonably possible.
Where practical, the customer should give the provider an opportunity to remedy the problem during the activity.
The customer may also contact:
68. Evidence
Customers should retain:
- booking confirmation;
- voucher;
- photographs;
- receipts;
- supplier correspondence;
- cancellation confirmation;
- and other relevant evidence.
69. Relationship With Other Travellin Policies

- Complaints Procedure
- Affiliate & Referral Disclosure

70. Travellin’s Transparency Commitment
Travellin aims to make clear:
WHO provides the activity.
WHAT is included.
WHAT is excluded.
WHERE and WHEN it takes place.
WHAT restrictions apply.
WHAT the customer pays.
WHAT cancellation conditions apply.
WHO controls the booking and refund.
This distinction is particularly important where Travellin operates as an affiliate or intermediary rather than as the activity provider.
71. Final Legal Statement
Activities and experiences involve different levels of operational, environmental and physical risk.
Customers must read the individual activity conditions and follow all supplier safety requirements.
The activity provider remains responsible for the service it supplies and for obligations imposed upon it by applicable law.
Travellin’s role is determined by the individual transaction and booking documentation.
Nothing in this page excludes or restricts any mandatory consumer, contractual, safety or statutory right or remedy.
Where mandatory law provides greater protection than this page, mandatory law prevails.
