1. Purpose of This Page
Travellin operates as a digital travel platform through which travellers may search, compare, configure, reserve and purchase travel services supplied by airlines, accommodation providers, car-rental companies, activity operators, cruise companies, insurance providers and other travel suppliers.
This page explains:
- who the relevant supplier may be;
- how supplier relationships work;
- when Travellin acts as an intermediary;
- when a supplier is the contractual provider;
- how supplier terms apply;
- how prices and availability are obtained;
- how booking confirmations identify suppliers;
- and how complaints and service problems should be handled.
The precise legal role of Travellin and each supplier depends on the particular transaction.
2. Travellin Is Not Automatically the Service Provider
Travellin may facilitate the booking of a service without itself operating or supplying that service.
For example:
- an airline operates a flight;
- a hotel or accommodation provider supplies accommodation;
- a car-rental company supplies the vehicle;
- an activity operator conducts an experience;
- a cruise operator operates a cruise;
- an insurance provider provides insurance.
The relevant supplier remains responsible for matters that fall within its own contractual and operational responsibility, subject to mandatory law and any applicable package-travel legislation.
3. Supplier Identity
Before a customer completes a booking, Travellin may display information identifying the relevant supplier.
Depending on the service, this may include:
- supplier name;
- trading name;
- address;
- country;
- contact details;
- supplier reference;
- licence or registration information where relevant;
- cancellation conditions;
- supplier terms;
- and other material information.
The information available depends on the supplier and the booking channel.
4. Supplier as Contracting Party
Where Travellin acts as an intermediary, the traveller may enter into a contract directly with the supplier.
The supplier’s terms may govern matters including:
- service delivery;
- cancellation;
- amendments;
- no-show;
- check-in;
- baggage;
- deposits;
- security requirements;
- age restrictions;
- activity conditions;
- refunds;
- and other service-specific matters.
Customers should read those terms before completing the booking.
5. Supplier Terms Are Important
Supplier terms can contain conditions that differ substantially between providers.
For example, two hotels may have different:
- cancellation deadlines;
- payment conditions;
- check-in rules;
- deposit requirements;
- child policies;
- pet policies;
- and room conditions.
Likewise, two activity providers may have different:
- age limits;
- medical requirements;
- weather policies;
- cancellation rules;
- equipment requirements;
- and safety conditions.
6. Supplier Information Before Booking
Travellin is designed to present material supplier information before the traveller commits to the relevant purchase, where that information is available and legally required.
For package travel, EU rules require extensive pre-contractual information, including the characteristics of the travel services, supplier/organiser information where applicable, total price, payment arrangements and passport/visa information. (
EUR-Lex)
7. Accurate Supplier Information
Travellin takes reasonable steps to display supplier information accurately based on the data received from:
- suppliers;
- distribution systems;
- booking platforms;
- APIs;
- channel managers;
- wholesalers;
- and other authorised data sources.
However, supplier information can change.
Examples include:
- price;
- availability;
- room type;
- baggage allowance;
- cancellation terms;
- operating times;
- activity schedules;
- and supplier policies.
The booking confirmation is therefore the principal record of the transaction actually completed.
8. Supplier Data and Third-Party Systems
Travel inventory may be obtained through technology operated by third parties.
This can include:
- direct supplier APIs;
- global distribution systems;
- hotel distribution platforms;
- activity platforms;
- car-rental distribution systems;
- cruise distribution systems;
- affiliate networks;
- and other authorised intermediaries.
The existence of a technology intermediary does not necessarily mean that the technology provider is the actual supplier of the travel service.
9. Supplier Availability
Availability shown on Travellin may be based on information supplied by a third-party provider or supplier system.
Availability can change rapidly because the same inventory may be offered simultaneously through:
- the supplier’s own website;
- other travel agencies;
- online travel platforms;
- wholesalers;
- and other distribution channels.
A displayed option is not necessarily reserved until the booking has been successfully confirmed.
10. Supplier Price
Prices may be obtained dynamically.
A price can change because of:
- supplier inventory;
- demand;
- currency conversion;
- taxes;
- availability;
- booking conditions;
- selected options;
- passenger details;
- room configuration;
- baggage;
- cancellation conditions;
- or other supplier charges.
The applicable price is the price confirmed for the completed transaction, subject to applicable law.
11. Taxes and Fees
Depending on the service and destination, the supplier’s price may include or separately identify:
- taxes;
- government charges;
- resort fees;
- tourist taxes;
- service fees;
- airport charges;
- baggage fees;
- cleaning fees;
- deposits;
- or other mandatory or optional charges.
Customers should review the final price breakdown before payment.
12. Supplier Currency
Supplier prices may be provided in different currencies.
Where Travellin displays a converted amount, the conversion may be based on the exchange rate or conversion mechanism applicable to the relevant transaction.
The final amount charged may differ where the payment provider, card issuer or supplier applies its own currency conversion.
13. Accommodation Suppliers
Accommodation suppliers may include:
- hotels;
- resorts;
- apartments;
- villas;
- hostels;
- guesthouses;
- serviced apartments;
- holiday homes;
- campsites;
- and other accommodation providers.
The accommodation provider is responsible for delivering the accommodation according to the confirmed booking and applicable terms.
14. Accommodation Information
Accommodation information may include:
- property name;
- location;
- room type;
- occupancy;
- bed configuration;
- meal plan;
- amenities;
- cancellation conditions;
- check-in and check-out;
- taxes;
- and other property policies.
Travellers should review the specific conditions attached to their selected room or rate.
15. Room Type and Bed Configuration
A room category does not necessarily guarantee a particular:
- floor;
- view;
- building;
- bed orientation;
- décor;
- or exact room number,
unless expressly stated in the booking.
Where a specific bed type is guaranteed, the booking confirmation should reflect that condition.
16. Flight Suppliers
For flight bookings, the airline or relevant air carrier is generally responsible for operating the flight and complying with applicable passenger-rights legislation.
Airline conditions may apply concerning:
- baggage;
- check-in;
- seat selection;
- ticket changes;
- cancellation;
- boarding;
- special assistance;
- and other transport conditions.
See Travellin’s
Flight Passenger Rights information.
17. Airline Schedule Changes
Flight schedules can change after booking.
The airline may alter:
- departure time;
- arrival time;
- flight number;
- aircraft;
- routing;
- airport;
- or operating carrier.
Where Travellin receives information concerning a material change, it may communicate the relevant information to the customer according to the applicable booking process.
18. Baggage
Baggage allowances are determined by the applicable airline fare and booking.
Baggage may include:
- personal item;
- cabin baggage;
- checked baggage;
- sports equipment;
- special baggage;
- or excess baggage.
The allowance shown for a flight should be checked carefully before payment.
19. Activities and Experiences
Travellin may offer activities supplied by independent operators.
Examples include:
- sightseeing;
- guided tours;
- museums;
- excursions;
- food experiences;
- wine tasting;
- water sports;
- surfing;
- skiing;
- snowboarding;
- diving;
- safaris;
- wellness;
- yoga;
- adventure activities;
- cultural experiences;
- entertainment;
- and other experiences.
The activity provider is responsible for delivering the activity according to its terms and applicable safety requirements, subject to mandatory law.
20. Activity Safety
Customers must comply with supplier instructions concerning:
- age;
- fitness;
- medical suitability;
- equipment;
- clothing;
- alcohol or substance restrictions;
- weather;
- safety;
- and other operational conditions.
Certain activities may involve inherent risks.
Customers should read the supplier’s safety information before participation.
21. Car-Rental Suppliers
Car-rental services are supplied by the relevant rental company.
Rental conditions may include:
- minimum age;
- driving licence requirements;
- deposit;
- credit-card requirements;
- insurance;
- excess;
- fuel policy;
- mileage;
- cross-border restrictions;
- additional-driver charges;
- and vehicle-category conditions.
The supplier’s rental agreement may contain additional requirements at collection.
22. Cruise Suppliers
Cruise services may be provided by cruise lines or other cruise operators.
Cruise terms may govern:
- passenger identification;
- passport requirements;
- visas;
- embarkation deadlines;
- health requirements;
- excursions;
- onboard charges;
- cancellation;
- and itinerary changes.
Customers should review the cruise operator’s conditions carefully.
23. Transfers and Transport
Airport transfers, private transfers, coaches, trains, buses and other transport services may be supplied by independent operators.
The applicable supplier may impose conditions concerning:
- pickup location;
- waiting time;
- luggage;
- passenger numbers;
- vehicle type;
- child seats;
- accessibility;
- and cancellation.
24. Travel Insurance Suppliers
Where travel insurance is offered, the insurance policy is supplied by the relevant insurer or insurance intermediary.
The insurer’s:
- policy wording;
- exclusions;
- conditions;
- coverage limits;
- claims procedure;
- and applicable law
govern the insurance contract.
Travellin does not determine whether an insurance claim is payable.
25. Supplier Confirmation
Once a booking is successfully completed, the customer should receive confirmation identifying the relevant service and, where applicable:
- supplier;
- booking reference;
- dates;
- traveller information;
- service details;
- price;
- payment status;
- cancellation conditions;
- and other relevant terms.
Customers should retain the confirmation.
26. Supplier Booking Reference
A booking may contain:
- a Travellin reference;
- a supplier reference;
- a reservation number;
- airline PNR;
- hotel confirmation number;
- activity booking number;
- or another supplier identifier.
These references should not be confused with one another.
Customers should quote the correct reference when contacting a supplier.
27. Supplier Contact
Where the supplier provides a direct customer-service channel, customers may be able to contact the supplier directly.
However, where the booking was made through Travellin and the issue concerns:
- payment;
- booking amendments;
- cancellation;
- refund;
- booking errors;
- or Travellin’s booking process,
customers should also contact:
bookings@travellin.info
28. Complaints About a Supplier Service
Where a customer experiences a problem during travel, the customer should report it
as soon as reasonably possible to:
- the supplier or on-site representative; and
- Travellin where Travellin is involved in the booking or customer-service process.
Prompt notification gives the supplier a reasonable opportunity to correct the problem.
For package travel, EU law specifically recognises the traveller’s obligation to communicate lack of conformity and permits the traveller to contact the retailer through which the package was purchased. (
EUR-Lex)
29. Supplier Failure
If a supplier fails to provide the booked service, the appropriate remedy depends on:
- the type of service;
- the contractual structure;
- applicable consumer law;
- whether the booking is a package;
- whether the supplier is responsible;
- and the circumstances of the failure.
A supplier failure does not automatically mean that Travellin is legally responsible for the supplier’s performance.
30. Package Travel Exception
Where a booking legally constitutes a package, the position is different.
EU package-travel rules establish that the organiser is responsible for the proper performance of the travel services included in the package, subject to the applicable legal framework. (
EUR-Lex)
Therefore, the supplier’s role must be considered together with the identity of the package organiser.
31. Travellin as Retailer or Intermediary
Where another trader is the organiser of a package and Travellin sells that package as retailer, Travellin may have retailer obligations under applicable law.
The legal status is determined by the actual transaction.
A trader cannot avoid mandatory package-travel obligations simply by describing itself as an intermediary if the legal criteria establish another role. (
EUR-Lex)
32. Travellin as Organiser
Where BETZONE s.r.o. legally acts as the organiser of a package, the package documentation will identify the applicable organiser information and statutory protections.
This may include:
- organiser contact details;
- responsibility for proper performance;
- assistance obligations;
- insolvency-protection information;
- and applicable complaint procedures.
33. Linked Travel Arrangements
Where Travellin facilitates separate travel-service transactions that satisfy the statutory definition of a linked travel arrangement, the applicable information and insolvency-protection requirements will apply.
The legal status depends on the actual booking process and not merely on the fact that another service was advertised or linked.
EU law expressly distinguishes packages from linked travel arrangements and requires traders to make the relevant status clear to travellers. (
EUR-Lex)
34. Supplier Insolvency
Supplier insolvency can have different consequences depending on the transaction.
For example:
- an individual hotel booking;
- an airline ticket;
- a package;
- and a linked travel arrangement
may have different statutory protections.
Package and qualifying linked-arrangement legislation includes specific insolvency-protection requirements. (
EUR-Lex)
35. Supplier Changes
Suppliers may change:
- operating schedules;
- policies;
- availability;
- facilities;
- room descriptions;
- activity schedules;
- vehicle categories;
- or other operational details.
Where such a change materially affects a confirmed booking, the applicable supplier or contractual party should communicate the relevant information in accordance with the booking conditions and applicable law.
36. Overbooking
In some travel sectors, suppliers may experience overbooking or inventory discrepancies.
Where this occurs, the supplier’s obligations depend upon:
- the type of service;
- applicable passenger or consumer law;
- booking conditions;
- and whether the booking forms part of a package.
Travellin will seek to facilitate appropriate communication where it is involved in the booking process.
37. Supplier Ratings and Reviews
Supplier ratings displayed by Travellin may originate from:
- customer reviews;
- supplier data;
- third-party systems;
- or Travellin’s own presentation methodology.
Ratings should not be interpreted as a guarantee of service quality.
See
Customer Reviews and
Ranking & Search Methodology.
38. Supplier Images and Descriptions
Images and descriptions may be supplied by:
- suppliers;
- authorised distributors;
- content providers;
- or other authorised sources.
Images may be illustrative where explicitly indicated.
Actual facilities, room layouts, equipment or surroundings may differ due to:
- renovation;
- seasonal operation;
- supplier changes;
- availability;
- or other circumstances.
39. Supplier Policies
Supplier policies may include:
- minimum age;
- maximum occupancy;
- child conditions;
- pet policies;
- smoking restrictions;
- accessibility;
- deposit requirements;
- payment requirements;
- dress codes;
- local taxes;
- and other restrictions.
Customers should review all applicable conditions before purchase.
40. Special Requests
Customers may submit special requests through Travellin where the booking system supports them.
A special request is not guaranteed unless the supplier has expressly confirmed it.
Examples include:
- adjoining rooms;
- particular beds;
- early check-in;
- late check-out;
- dietary requirements;
- airport assistance;
- child seats;
- accessibility arrangements.
41. Supplier Communications
Customers may receive communications from:
- Travellin;
- the supplier;
- the booking intermediary;
- or another authorised service provider.
Customers should monitor the email address used for the booking.
Important operational messages may concern:
- confirmation;
- payment;
- schedule changes;
- cancellation;
- check-in;
- supplier instructions;
- or other travel information.
42. Supplier Data Protection
A supplier may process customer information where necessary to:
- complete a reservation;
- provide the service;
- comply with legal obligations;
- process payments;
- prevent fraud;
- provide customer support;
- or otherwise perform the contract.
The supplier may have its own privacy policy.
Customers should review both Travellin’s Privacy Policy and the relevant supplier’s privacy information where applicable.
43. Payment to Suppliers
Depending on the booking structure, payment may be:
- collected by Travellin;
- collected by the supplier;
- processed through a payment provider;
- or processed through another authorised intermediary.
The payment recipient and relevant payment conditions should be identified during checkout or in the booking confirmation.
44. Currency and Card Charges
A customer may see:
- a displayed Travellin price;
- a supplier price;
- a converted price;
- and a final card charge.
These amounts should be reviewed before payment.
Banks and card providers may apply their own:
- exchange rates;
- foreign transaction fees;
- or other charges.
45. Fraud Prevention
Travellin and its suppliers may use measures designed to detect:
- fraudulent transactions;
- payment abuse;
- identity inconsistencies;
- duplicate bookings;
- suspicious activity;
- or other security risks.
A supplier may require additional verification before confirming a booking.
46. Supplier Booking Errors
Where a booking error results from:
- technical failure;
- incorrect supplier data;
- system error;
- or another booking-system problem,
the appropriate remedy depends upon the circumstances and applicable law.
EU package-travel legislation expressly addresses trader liability for certain booking errors attributable to the trader or booking system. (
EUR-Lex)
47. Traveller-Caused Errors
Travellers are responsible for information they enter themselves, including:
- names;
- dates;
- passenger details;
- passport information;
- travel dates;
- room occupancy;
- and selected services.
A traveller should verify all information before confirming payment.
48. Supplier Terms and Travellin Terms
A booking may be subject to several layers of contractual documentation, including:
- Travellin’s platform terms;
- supplier terms;
- fare rules;
- accommodation conditions;
- activity terms;
- insurance policy wording;
- and mandatory applicable law.
Where mandatory law conflicts with a contractual term, the mandatory legal requirement prevails.
49. No Circumvention of Mandatory Rights
Nothing on this page is intended to exclude or restrict mandatory consumer rights.
Under EU package-travel law, travellers cannot validly waive statutory package-travel rights. (
EUR-Lex)
50. Supplier Due Diligence
Travellin may evaluate suppliers according to operational and commercial criteria, which may include:
- availability;
- data quality;
- booking reliability;
- cancellation performance;
- customer service;
- payment reliability;
- contractual compliance;
- legal documentation;
- and technical connectivity.
The precise supplier-onboarding process may differ according to supplier type.
51. Supplier Suspension
Travellin may suspend or remove a supplier from its Platform where appropriate, including where there are concerns concerning:
- reliability;
- data accuracy;
- availability;
- contractual compliance;
- security;
- fraud;
- legal compliance;
- or other material issues.
Suspension does not necessarily affect an already confirmed booking, which will be handled according to the applicable contractual arrangements.
52. Supplier Changes After Booking
If a supplier ceases to participate in Travellin after a booking has been confirmed, Travellin will seek to preserve the customer’s contractual rights and facilitate appropriate communication.
The actual legal responsibility depends on the booking structure and applicable law.
53. Customer Protection
Travellin’s supplier model is intended to provide customers with clear information concerning:
- who supplies the service;
- who receives payment;
- who is responsible for performance;
- what cancellation conditions apply;
- and what legal protections apply.
This distinction is particularly important where several travel services are purchased together.

56. During Travel
If something goes wrong:
- Contact the supplier or local representative immediately.
- Give the supplier a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.
- Contact Travellin where Travellin is involved in the booking.
- Keep written evidence.
- Keep receipts for reasonable additional expenses.
- Report material problems promptly.
For qualifying package travel, communication of a lack of conformity is particularly important because the organiser’s obligations and the traveller’s remedies can depend on timely notification. (
EUR-Lex)

58. Important Disclaimer
Supplier information is provided to help travellers understand their booking.
Travellin does not guarantee that every supplier:
- will operate without interruption;
- will maintain every facility described;
- will retain the same policies;
- will maintain identical availability;
- or will remain unchanged until the date of travel.
Confirmed contractual terms and mandatory law prevail.
59. Final Statement
Travellin’s objective is to make the identity and role of travel suppliers transparent.
The customer should always be able to determine, from the relevant booking documentation where applicable:
WHO provides the service → WHO receives the payment → WHO is the contracting party → WHAT terms apply → WHAT cancellation rules apply → WHAT legal protections apply.
For individual travel services, the relevant supplier’s contractual and statutory obligations generally govern the service.
For package travel, the legally identified organiser assumes the responsibilities imposed by applicable package-travel law.
For linked travel arrangements, the separate supplier relationships and applicable statutory protections govern the relevant services.
The legal role of a supplier, retailer, intermediary or organiser is determined by the
actual transaction and applicable law, not merely by the terminology used on a website. EU law expressly provides that a trader’s description of its role does not by itself remove obligations arising from the actual legal structure of the transaction. (
